Graham John Murray – A Taxijam

We took a break after rocking the daisies, firstly to recover, and secondly to get feedback from the public on who they would like to see next up in the Taxi – Then out of the blue we received an email suggesting we check out GJM (Graham John Murray) , I had heard his name bandied about in musical circles for quite some time, he was rumored to have gigged with Dirty Skirts guitarist and founder Dave Moffat, way before the Skirts were even a glint in indie rocks eyes…. as well as playing a number of underground shows on the UK circuit – but his performances in South Africa to date have been limited to a few exclusive private shows to his close circle of followers.. So it was with some trepidation that we called him up and asked him to give us an intimate once off show while driving down Long Street on a lazy Tuesday evening in October..
