Holiday Murray – An iPad Taxijam

We’ve been toying with this idea for a while, ever since we discovered the iPad and its awesome music apps

Would it be possible for a band for a band to put together an entire performance only using apps for the iPad?

So we approached Holiday Murray with the idea and being the stand up fellas that they are  – they jumped at the opportunity and immediately we set about fiddling with a multitude of apps…

So we finally put our little plan into action one autumn afternoon and wired up an entire taxi to support 4 iPads all running different programs, ranging from samplers, bass guitars, drum machines and an Analog Korg Synthesiser  – the results of which you can witness above.

We steered away from our “one shot one take” performance to come up with a more stylized production…

I kinda dig it.
